OBITUARY: Margaret Swann Walker, Mitchell County, Iowa FUNERAL HELD FOR MRS. MARGARET WALKER Funeral services were held Friday morning at the Champion funeral home in Osage for a former resident, Mrs. Margaret Walker, 87, who died last Tuesday at a Minneapolis nursing home where she was a resident three years. The Rev. Wesley Anderson, pastor of the Baptist church here, was in charge of the services. Burial was in the Osage cemetery. Margaret Swann was born Oct. 1, 1878, at Guelph, Ontario, Canada. She was married to Henry C. Walker, Jan. 3, 1899, in Minnesota. The family lived in Minneapolis and Osage. Her husband was employed by the Casey Implement firm here. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Nelia Downey of Minneapolis; one sister, Mrs. Priscilla Swann, formerly of Osage, and now of Mason City; six grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
