OBITUARY: Louis E. Weinberger, Mitchell County, Iowa LOUIS WEINBERGER, 60, SUFFERS FATAL HEART ATTACK Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 A.M. for an Osage farmer, Louis E. Weinberger, 60, who died Monday night at a hospital in St. Cloud, Minn. Mr. Weinberger suffered a heart attack while visiting in Collegeville, Minn., near St. Cloud. (Oct. 1966) The Rev. Fr. Thomas J. Conroy, pastor, will be in charge of the services at Sacred Heart Catholic church. Rosary will be at the Champion Funeral Home at 8 p.m. this evening and burial will be in Sacred Heart cemetery. Louis Edward Weinberger was born in Rock township, Mitchell County Aug. 20, 1906, the son of Robert and Mary Hovel Weinberger. He attended the rural Rock township school and spent his adult life farming west of Osage. He was married March 29, 1932, to Mary Driscoll at Sacred Heart Church. Mr Weinberger was a life long member of Sacred Heart church, and was also affiliated with the Holy Name society and Knights of Columbus. Surviving are his wife, Mary, of rural Osage; one son, John Robert of San Bernardino, Calif., one daughter, Mrs. James Jordan (Mary Jo) of St. Ansgar; his mother, Mrs. Mary Weinberger of Osage; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Chisholm of Riceville, Mrs. Joseph (Mabel) Rogers of Osage; one brother, Lawrence Weinberger of rural Osage and seven grandchildren.
