OBITUARY: Ruth Ida Hobbs Wolff, Mitchell County, Iowa

                           Ruth Ida Wolff

Funeral services for Ruth Ida Wolff, age 83, of St. Ansgar, were held
Monday, April 22, 2002 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar. Reverend
Byron Northwick officiated. Burial was in the St. Ansgar Cemetery.

Ruth died Friday (April 19, 2002) at the Good Samaritan Center in St Ansgar.

Ruth Ida Wolff was born on March 17, 1919 in Osage to Lee and Agnes
(Seffinga) Hobbs. She was baptized on Sept. 1, 1930 at the Congregational
Church in Osage and later was confirmed on Feb. 19, 1939, at Immanuel
Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar.

She was united in marriage to Theodore Wolff on Aug. 1, 1936 at the
Congregational Church, Osage. She loved her family and her church. 

The last 33 years she was a resident of the Good Samaritan Center.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; one son, Gary; two
brothers, Hilmar and Merle and one sister, Mary.

Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Griga of St. Ansgar and Carol
Power of Osage; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, one great-great-
grandchild and also the loving staff of the Good Samaritan Center.

Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar was in charge of arrangements.
