OBITUARY: Mrs. Alma C. Anderson, 1900-1981, Mitchell County, Iowa [St. Ansgar Enterprise, 2 APR 1981] Mrs. Alma C. Anderson Funeral Held Monday, March 23 Funeral services for Mrs. Alma C. Anderson, 80, who died at her home in Conger, Minn. March 20, were held March 23 at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Conger, with the Rev. Delbert Ring officiating. Mrs. Anderson was born October 24, 1900 in Decorah, the daughter of Nels and Anna Ramsey. She lived in Riceland and Bancroft townships for many years, in Geneva for four years, Fresno, Calif. for 16 years, and in Conger since 1967. She married Abe Anderson December 11, 1918 in Owatonna, Minn. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church and its ALCW. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband; one son, Russell of Conger; one daughter, Mrs. C. V. (Phyllis) Donahue, St. Ansgar; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Thompson, Decorah; Mrs. Harry (Gena) Erickson, Blooming Prairie, Minn.; Mrs. Esther Anderson of Decorah and Mrs. Irene Haas of Albert Lea, Minn. She was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother. Burial was in the Conger Community cemetery with Rev. Ring in charge of committal services.
