OBITUARY: Jeanette Louise (Christensen) Madaris, 1906-1981, Mitchell Co., IA

         Mrs. Jeanette Madaris Funeral Held In Pine River, Minn.

  Funeral services for Mrs. Jeanette Madaris, 75, who died May 18 at a
hospital in Brainerd, Minn., were held May 21 at the Northland Funeral Home
in Pine River, Minn. with interment in Hackensack, Minn.

  Jeanette Louise (Christensen) Madaris was born April 11, 1906 in St.
Ansgar, the daughter of Martin and Margarete (Ringhand) Christensen.

  September 21, 1953 she married A. Roy Madaris in Waterloo and several
years later they moved to their home in rural Backus, Minn. where she
resided until her death.

  Mrs. Madaris was preceded in death by her parents and her husband who
died in 1974. She is survived by a step son, Robert Madaris of Waterloo; a
sister, Etta Christensen of St. Ansgar; a brother, Gordon Christensen of
Janesville, Wis.; three nephews, several cousins and an aunt, Mrs. Loretta
Toothill of Waterloo.
