OBITUARY: Gerianne Mullenbach, 1955-1996, Mitchell Co., Iowa [ From the Austin Daily Herald, Austin, MN; Tuesday, January 16, 1996 ] Gerianne Mullenbach Gerianne Mullenbach, 40, of Johnsburg, Minn., died Sunday Jan. 14, 1996, at Austin Medical Center. A mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, Jan. 18, at 11 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, Johnsburg, with the Rev. Gregory Len officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Johnsburg. Friends may call at Visitation Church Hall in Stacyville, Iowa, 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, with a 3 p.m. rosary and a 7:30p.m. prayer service; and at 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at Visitation Church Hall. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born to Dale and Theresa (Adams) Mauer Nov. 11, 1955, in Osage, Iowa. She graduated from St. Ansgar High School in 1974. She married Lee Anthony Mullenbach Jan. 6, 1979, at Visitation Church. First and Foremost in her life was her family. Her hobbies were gardening, cooking, baking, camping and sewing (prairie dolls, teddy bears and bunnies). She was a member of John's Catholic Church, St. John's C.C.W. and National Catholic Society of Foresters. She is survived by her husband, Lee Mullenbach, Johnsburg; six children Cara, Dawn, Adam, Brad, Erin and Evan, all at home; parents, Dale and Theresa (Adams) Mauer, Stacyville; father and mother-in-law, Clifford and Isabel (Elliott) Mullenbach, Johnsburg; brothers and sisters-in-law, Stephen and Linda Mauer, Loveland, Colo.,Stanley Mauer and Joyce Keag, Canon City, Colo., Wayne and Vickie Mauer, Pacific Junction, Iowa, Shawn Mauer and Tammy McKenna, Stacyville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and Craig Farlinger, West Liberty, Iowa, Peg and James Bruggeman, Toeterville, Iowa, Lisa and Carl Farlinger, St. Ansgar, Michelle and Paul Halbach, St. Ansgar, Pamela and James Bruggeman, Mason City, Iowa; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Aaron and Michelle Mullenbach, Adams, Harvey and Jenny Mullenbach, Rose Creek; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Laura and Randy Freund, Adams, Audrey and Galen Hemann, Rose Creek, Holly Mullenbach, Albert Lea; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Elizabeth Mauer, and Ernest and Clara Adams; and two uncles. Pallbearers will be Galen Hemann, Randy Freund, Paul Halbach, Carl Farlinger, Jim Bruggeman and Jim Brincks. The organist will be Sue Finbraaten.
