OBITUARY: Irma Zemanek Seaton, 1897-1980, Mitchell County, Iowa

           Mrs. Dwight Seaton Funeral Held Tuesday, October 28

  Funeral services for Mrs. Dwight S. Seaton, 83, who died Friday, October
24 at the Faith Nursing Home in Osage, were held Tuesday, October 28 at the
Schroeder Funeral Home here with the Rev. Bruce Wittern, pastor of the St.
Ansgar United Methodist church, officiating.

  Irma Zemanek was born in Mitchell county January 28, 1897, the daughter
of Vincent and Theresa Zemanek. She attended grade school in the St. Ansgar
area, and was graduated from St. Ansgar high school in 1914.

  She married Dwight S. Seaton in Osage February 1920. Mrs. Seaton resided
in her rural home east of St. Ansgar all her life except for a short time
in Osage. For many years she was the Spring Valley correspondent for the
St. Ansgar Enterprise.

  Mrs. Seaton was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight; her parents,
Vincent and Theresa Zemanek; two sisters, Georgia Libersky and Wilma Adams.

  She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
  
  Burial was in the St. Ansgar cemetery with Rev. Wittern in charge of the
committal services.
