OBITUARY: Richard W. Cassidy Jr., 1943-2003, Mitchell Co., Iowa

                        Richard W. Cassidy Jr.
                        
Services for Richard W. Cassidy Jr., 60, Logansport, were held Friday,
June 13 at Calvary Presbyterian Church with Rev. Douglas Mankell
officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mr. Cassidy died Monday,
June 9, 2003, in Logansport Memorial Hospital. 

Richard was born March 3, 1943, in Logansport, he was the son of Richard W.
and Norma P. Laymon Cassidy. He was married Sept. 13, 1969, in Iowa, to
Carolyn Field, who survives. 

His mother, Norma P. Cassidy, preceded in death. 

Also surviving are two sons, Brendon Cassidy and his fiancé, Sandra Yu,
Sherman Oaks, CA, and Michael Cassidy and his wife, Elizabeth, Washington,
PA; his father, Richard Cassidy Sr., Logansport; one sister, Carol Link
and her husband, Michael, Attica; his mother-in-law, Marie Field, San
Gabriel, CA, formerly of Osage; aunts and uncles, Charles and Joann Ross
and Mary Cooper, all of Logansport; nieces and nephew, Melissa Beckner,
Fishers, Kai Marie Field, Topeka, KS, and Craig Beckner, Fishers; two
sisters-in-law, Gerry Keeling, San Gabriel, Calif., and Joanne Field,
Topeka, KS; one brother-in-law, Don Field and his wife, Poca, Topeka, KS;
and several cousins. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Richard W. Cassidy Jr. Memorial
Scholarship Fund in care of the Cass County Community Foundation, P.O. Box
441, Logansport, or to a favorite charity.
