OBITUARY: Edith Juenger 1932-2003, Mitchell Co., Iowa

                              Edith Juenger

Funeral services for Edith E. Juenger, 71, of Osage, were held Friday,
May 16, 2003 at St. Ansgar Catholic Church, St. Ansgar, with Father Mark
Reasoner officiating. Edith died on Monday, May 12, 2003 at Mercy Medical
Center-North Iowa, Mason City

Edith was born January 15, 1932 to Curtis and Wilma (Hewitt) Duncan.  She
married Luke Juenger August 3, 1949 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in
Osage.  Edith enjoyed turtle fishing, sewing, playing bingo and her cat,
Tootsie.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents, husband Luke in 1990, brother
Wilfred, and brother-in-law Robert Duponcheele.

She is survived by three children; daughter, Shirley and her husband Jerry
Nitschke of Le Mar, AR, son, Tom and his wife Kris Juenger of Garner, and
daughter, Bev and her husband Duane Steiger of Orchard.  Six grandchildren:
Sheila Taylor, Cristy Taylor, Bryan Juenger, Jason Juenger, Karla Juenger,
and Mark Steiger.  Three great grandchildren: Christina Taylor, Jesse
Taylor, and Olivia Juenger.  Two great great grandchildren: Tristin Taylor
and Kailey Taylor.  One sister Erma Duponcheele of Stacyville, Iowa.

Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, Iowa was in charge of
