Funeral services for Betty Lou Farrell, 64, were held Monday, June 9, 2003,
at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church in Glen Ellyn, IL. Her brother-in-
law, Rev. Emmet Farrell officiated. Betty died June 3, 2003, at her home
in Glen Ellyn.

Betty was born June 23, 1938, in rural Osage. She attended school in Osage
and graduated from the Osage High School in 1956. After graduating from
Iowa State College, she was united in marriage to Jerald Farrell on August
13, 1960, at the Sacred Heart Church in Osage.

Betty was co-author of four books related to sewing, was Vice-President
of Euro-notions and Account Executive of Brewer Sewing Co. She loved
spending time with her family, especially her 15 grandchildren, traveling
and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry in 1999.
