OBITUARY: Edward Herman Henry Koschmeder, 1910-1981, Mitchell County, Iowa [St. Ansgar Enterprise, 24 DEC 1981] Copyrighted Edward Koschmeder Funeral Held Here Friday, December 18 Funeral services for Edward H. Koschmeder, 71, who died at the White House Nursing Home in Osage December 15, were held December 18 at the Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home here with the Rev. Norman Betke, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran church, officiating. Edward Herman Henry Koschmeder was born March 4, 1910 in Mitchell township, the son of Herman and Bertha Zarling Koschmeder. He was baptized May 8, 1910 at St. John's Lutheran church, Rock Township, by the Rev. G. A. Bischoff. He was confirmed March 28, 1926 at Immanuel Lutheran church here by the Rev. Paul Brammer. Mr. Koschmeder was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Alfred, Roy and George; five sisters, Miss Alma Koschmeder, Mrs. Meta McLaughlin, Mrs. Dora Trachte, Mrs. Frances Trout and Mrs. Josephine Pint. He is survived by four sisters: Mrs. Helen Pint of Osage, Mrs. Gertrude Petznick of Osage, Mrs. Harriet Loftus of Waseca, Minn. and Mrs. Julia Muller of Osage; also nieces and nephews. Burial was in St. John's Lutheran cemetery, Rock township, with Rev. Betke in charge of committal services.
