MN News; July 12, 1885 ---------------------- Item #3 (OBITUARY) Osage News - 1895 Martha Ella Tubbs, wife of Silas Tubbs, was born in Martin Co., Minn., Aug. 14th, 1865. She was married to her now bereaved husband June 2nd, 1886, which union was blessed with five children, of which number only two survive. She was converted to God about four years ago, and united with the Congregational church. Three years ago she and her husband moved to Mitchell Co., where she united with the M.E. church, of which she was a faithful member until her end. She was relieved from great suffering and earth's sorrows and tolls on the morning of July 5, 1895, and we trust she is now in the land of no more death, neither pain, nor sorrow, where God shall wipe away all her tears. Her end was peace. She reached the age of 28 years and 11 months. May god comfort the husband and be as a Mother to the two little Motherless Girls.
