Pell Funeral services for Richard "Mike" A. Pell, age 58, of Nashua, formerly of Nora Springs, were held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 11, 2003, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home, 702 State St., Osage. Cremation will take place following the funeral service, with inurnment at the Bohemian National Cemetery in Myrtle, MN. Mr. Pell, died Saturday June 7, 2003, at his home of natural causes. Richard (Mike) was born May 7, 1945 in Union Township in Mitchell County, the son of Edward and Helen (Shupe) Pell. Richard (Mike) worked for Hawkeye Auto Body in Mason City for years. He also owned his own business where he restored antique cars. Richard (Mike) also worked for Currys in Mason City for many years until he retired. He played lead guitar and sang in "Dick's Country Masters Band." His favorite past times were music and antique cars. He will be remembered for his special sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Helen Pell and a special aunt and uncle, Dale and Anna Stanton He is survived by his special friend Sylvia Koskie of Nashua; three daughters, Pamela Bierbrodt of Marshalltown, Shelly Pell of Mason City, Tammy Pell of Mason City; one granddaughter, Chelsea of Marshalltown; three sisters, Patricia Williams (Chester) of Eucha, OK, Ardith Heins (Wayne) of Cedar Falls and Mary Lou Smith (Harry) of Waterloo.
