OBITUARY: John L. Rogers, 1931-2003, Mitchell Co., Iowa

                             John L. Rogers

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 17, 2003 for John L. Rogers, age
72, of Osage at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage. The Rev. Roy
Ott Officiated. Interment was in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Osage.
John died Saturday, June 14, 2003 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, MN.

John Rogers was born March 17, 1931 in Osage the son of John F. and Margaret
(Laughlin) Rogers. He was a life-long truck driver and currently he had been
driving for Golden Ring Trucking out of Fergus Falls, MN.

John was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Lawrence Rogers
and one sister Dorothy Warner.

His survivors include one daughter Laurel Richter and husband Wayne of
Batavia, IL and their children Matthew, Meghan and Michael; two sons Marc
Rogers of Santa, ID and his children Cassandra, Michelle and Joni; Bryan
Rogers and wife Renata of Osage and their son Justin; two brothers Allen
Rogers and wife Helen of St. Ansgar and Dean Rogers and wife Charlene of
Nevada, IA.
