OBITUARY: Irma A. Theobald, 1905-2003, Mitchell Co., Iowa

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 17, 2003 for Irma A. Theobald,
98, of Stacyville at the Visitation Catholic Church, Stacyville with
Rev. Mark Reasoner officiating. Burial was in the Visitation Cemetery.

Irma passed away on Saturday, June 14 at the Stacyville Community
Nursing Home.

Irma was born on May 23, 1905 in Meyer, Iowa to John and Gertrude
(Halfman) Durben. She attended school in Meyer. Irma married Carl Theobald
on February 3, 1932 at Meyer. She was a member of the Christian Mothers
and received a rosary for over 75 years as a member of the Forresters.
Irma loved gardening, whistling and flowers. She had a positive good
sense of humor.

Irma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, three
brothers, four sisters.

She is survived by one daughter, Helen Hemann of Austin, MN; three sons,
Glen of Lake City, MN; Kenneth of Stacyville, and Roger of Elk Horn, NE;
13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.

Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home of St. Ansgar was in charge of arrangements.
