OBITUARY: Gregory Alvin Ahrens, 1970-2004, Mitchell Co., Iowa

                             Gregory Ahrens

Funeral services for Gregory Ahrens, age 34, of Indianola, and formerly
of Osage, was held Wednesday, August 18, 2004, at the Champion-Bucheit
Funeral Home, Osage, with Rev. Roy Ott officiating.  Interment will be
in the Osage Cemetery.

Gregory died Friday, August 13, 2004, at his home. 

Gregory was born August 11, 1970, at Osage, the son of Kenneth Ahrens and
Susan Saltou.  Gregory graduated from Decorah High School in 1989, after
which he attended NIACC in Mason City. He was employed by Pizza Hut,
starting in high school, and was now an area general manager in the
Des Moines region.

Gregory is survived by his father Kenneth Ahrens and his wife Cheryl
of Decorah; his mother Susan Saltou of Mason City; two brothers,
Christopher Ahrens and his wife Kaylene and their children Mikayla
and Tegan of Rock Falls; and Benjamin Ahrens and his wife Stacey and
their children Abby and Kelly of Mabel, Minn.

Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage, was in charge of arrangements.
