OBITUARY: Otilde Gustava Thompson Berg, 1877-1952, Mitchell Co., Iowa Funeral Services For Mrs. C. Berg Will Be Here Friday Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. in Oak Valley Lutheran Church for Mrs. Charles Berg, 74, who died Monday evening at her home in Velva. Rev. E.C. Astrup will officiate and burial will be in the Velva cemetery. John Colby will be the organist. Lorraine Thompson and Mr. Colber will be the singers. Mrs. Berg, the former Otilde Gustava Thompson, was born on April 29, 1877 at Mona, Iowa. Among the survivors are her husband, Charles; four daughters, Myrtle and Grace at home; Mrs. A.W. Ueckert of Beach, N.Dak.; and Mrs. C. Rosenkranz of Lewiston, Idaho; three sons, Thorman of Long Beach, Calif.; Charles, Jr., of Rivera, Calif.; and Gerald of Beach, N.Dak. She is also survived by five sisters: Mrs. J.L. Hobkirk and Mrs. L.N. Halvorson, both of Lyle, Minn.; Mrs. A.E. Sundt of St. James, Minn.; Mrs. Ellen Cores of Osage, Iowa; and Mrs. Theodore Bolinder of Inglewood, Calif.; three brothers, Oscar Thompson of Velva; Thomas Thompson of Voltaire and Lewis Thompson of Austin, Minn. There are also six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Leonard Borreson, Virgil Christenson, Ralph Schalow, John and Fred Robinson and David Skogland.
