OBITUARY: Charlene F. (MacInerney) Bromley, 1935-2004, Mitchell Co., Iowa [From Mitchell County-Press-News online (Edited); Posted June 23, 2004] Charlene F. Bromley Charlene F. Bromley, 69, formerly of Osage, died May 2, 2004, in her home following a courageous battle with cancer. Services were held Thursday, May 6, 2004 at First Lutheran Church with Rev. Kay Slocum of First Lutheran Church, and Rev. Dennis Hanson of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Osage officiating. Graveside services and interment was in the Dubuque Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Charlene was born April 3, 1935 in Bellevue, Iowa. She was an insurance agent for Farm Bureau for 15 years. She was an active member of First Lutheran Church, and a former member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Osage. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister, and a daughter Susan MacInerney. Survivors include four children, Janet Saunders and husband Galen of Maquoketa, Iowa, Dennis MacInerney of Osage, Deb Gillen-Hauri and husband Roy of Lancaster, Wisconsin, and Lori MacInerney of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, a sister Luanne Gohlmann of Maquoketa, five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and three step grandchildren.
