OBITUARY: David Hudson Dunn, 1850-1935, Mitchell Co., Iowa David Hudson Dunn David Hudson Dunn was born at Brown's Corners, Wisconsin, December 18, 1850. He passed away at his home in McIntire January 6, having lived 84 years and 19 days. His youth was spent in Wisconsin and at the age of 17 came to Bristol, Minnesota, where he engaged in farming with his father. In 1877 he came to Saratoga, Howard County, Iowa, where he lived until 1915. He removed to McIntire, Iowa, at that time, where he has since resided. He was the sixth son of William and Rachel Dunn - Joseph of Loyal, Wisconsin, and Esta Dunn, of McIntire are the only remaining brother and sister. His nephew, David Dunn, has been caring for him since he has been crippled with rheumatism. He was a member of the Congregational church at Saratoga. He was laid to rest in the cemetery at Saratoga, services conducted by Rev. Bodenham of Riceville. Copyright 2004, Merri Cross Note: This was found in a scrapbook. The clipping is dated 1935.
