OBITUARY: Lola Ernestine Duryee, 1890-1920, Mitchell County, Iowa



                      Lola Ernestine Duryee

Lola Ernestine Duryee was born on the home farm west of McIntire,
Iowa, October 20, 1890, and passed away at the age of 29 years,
4 months, and 10 days.  She graduated from the Osage high school
and later from the Teachers' College at Cedar Falls.  During the
past five years she had charge of the home economics class in the
Dodge Center, Minnesota, public schools.

Besides her father and mother, she leaves to mourn her death two
sisters, Mrs. C.R. (May) Hopkins, of McIntire, and Mrs. F.W.
(Ethel) Hall, of Spring Valley, one brother, Harry E., also of
McIntire.  The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from the home
at 2:30 pm.  Rev. Bodenham, of the McIntire Baptist church delivering
the sermon, and burial was made in Wayne cemetery.
