OBITUARY: Lynn Marie Fox, 1978-2004, Mitchell Co., Iowa




                           Lynn Marie Fox

Lynn Marie Fox, 25, Valley Falls, died May 30, 2004, at a Topeka
hospital. She was born Sept. 5, 1978, at Osage, Iowa, the daughter
of Vern E. and Evalena A. (Staggs) Fox. She attended Valley Falls
High School, where she was a cheerleader, and graduated in 1997.
Miss Fox worked at a Sonic Drive-In in Kansas City. She was studying
at Northeast Kansas Technical College in Atchison to be a licensed
practical nurse, with a career goal of becoming a respiratory
therapist. She attended Rock Creek Bible Church.

Survivors include her parents, Vern and Evalena Fox, Valley Falls;
two brothers, Dan Fox, Valley Falls, and Vernie D. Fox and wife
Kristin, Meriden; nephews and nieces, Vernie Colton Edward Fox,
Kaley Fox, Brina Fox and Shay Fox, all of Meriden, and Ashley
Johnson and Cassandra Fox, both of Carroll, Iowa; paternal
grandmother, Iola Fox Gaffey, and stepgrandfather, Merlin Gaffey,
both of Muscotah; and maternal grandparents, Eulis and Alice Staggs,
David City, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Vernie C.
Fox.

Funeral services were held June 2, 2004, at Rock Creek Bible Church.
Cremation followed, and private inurnment will be held at a later
date.
