OBITUARY: Paul R. Naig, 1938-2004, Mitchell Co., Iowa

                              Paul R. Naig

A Mass of Christian Burial for Paul R. Naig, age 65, of Osage, Iowa, was
held Thursday, August 26, 2004, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in
Osage with Rev. Mark Reasoner officiating. Interment will be in the
Osage Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by Osage American Legion
Post 278.   Paul died Saturday, August 21, 2004, at his home. 

Paul was born December 21, 1938 in Osage, Iowa, the son of Nels and
Arlene (Sewright) Naig. He attended school in Osage and graduated from
Osage High School in 1957. Paul entered the U.S. Air Force in 1958 and
served 26 years, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. He was united
in marriage to Joyce A. Kleeberger on August 17, 1963 in Claremont,
Minnesota.   Following Paul's retirement from the Air Force, they
returned to Osage where he worked for Erdman Motor Company in Osage,
Lake Chevrolet in Clear Lake, and Fox River Mills in Osage. Paul
retired in 2003. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Greta Creek. 

Paul is survived by his wife: Joyce Naig of Osage; children Kelly
(Steve) Stotts of Des Moines, Iowa, Doug (Mesa) Naig of Osage, and Kara
Zimmerman of Osage; seven grandchildren; one brother John Naig of
Seattle, Washington.
