OBITUARY: Curt W. Rosendahl, 1928-2004, Mitchell Co., Iowa

                         Curt W. Rosendahl

Funeral services for Curt W. Rosendahl, age 75, of Osage, Iowa,
were held Thursday, April 15, 2004 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church
in Osage. Reverend Dennis Hanson and Reverend Roy Ott officiated.
Interment was in the Osage Cemetery. Curt died Monday, April 12,
2004 at the Faith Lutheran Home in Osage.

Curt Rosendahl was born Dec. 24, 1928, the son of Elmer and Hildegard
(Tieskotter) Rosendahl. He attended schools in Decorah and graduated
from Decorah High School.

Curt was united in marriage to Norma Jean Gilbertson on Oct. 15, 1950
in Decorah, Iowa.  They made their home in the Decorah area until 1967,
and then moved to Osage.  Curt retired from the Des Moines Register. 
                                                                     
Curt was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter Barb Kelm.

His survivors include his wife, Norma Rosendahl, Osage, two daughters
Diane Brown (Rob) of Rochester, Minnesota, and Lori Fox (Terry) of
Peyton, Colorado, one son Jim Rosendahl (Marcia) of Osage, one
son-in-law Mark Kelm of Rochester, Minnesota, five grandchildren:
Megan, Lars and Hakkon Rosendahl, Cody and Willow Fox, one step-
grandson Greg Kelm, two sisters Lavonne Brown and special friend
Gordon of Cedar Rapids, Lynette Ellefson (Paul) of Mesa, Ariz.

Champion-Buecheit Funeral Home, Osage, 641-732-3706, was in charge
of arrangements.
