OBITUARY: Kenneth K. Schaa, 1938-2003, Mitchell Co., Iowa

                          Kenneth K. Schaa

Funeral services for Kenneth K. Schaa, age 66, of Osage, Iowa, and
formerly of Patterson, California, were held Monday, May 10, 2004,
at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage. The Reverend Christian
F. Gugel officiated. Interment was in the Osage Cemetery. Kenneth
died Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at the Mitchell County Regional Health
Center Hospice Unit in Osage.

Kenneth Schaa was born February 14, 1938 at Hartley, Iowa, the son
of Marvin and Bessie (Knicker) Schaa. Kenneth graduated from Hartley
High School. On October 8, 1960 he was united in marriage to Alice
Mae Diesburg at La Mesa, California.  Kenneth owned and operated
AMS Metal Products in California until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one stepbrother, Charles
Schaa.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Alice Schaa of Osage; three sons,
Scotty Schaa and his girlfriend Marce Slazas of Patterson, California,
and his sons Joshua and Dana Schaa; Troy Schaa and his wife, Karen of
Turlock, California, and children Troy II and Patricia Schaa; Guy
Schaa and his wife, Barbara Schaa of Patterson, California, and children
Brandy, Brooke and Dalton Schaa.
