OBITUARY: Marold L. Weaverling, 1935-2004, Mitchell Co., Iowa

                        Marold L. Weaverling

Marold L. Weaverling, 68, of Osage, Iowa, died suddenly on Friday,
July 2, 2004, at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage.
Marold was born July 11, 1935, at Osage, the son of Perry and Anna
(Popp) Weaverling.

He graduated from Osage High School. Marold was employed in the
grocery business in Osage his entire working career.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at the First
Baptist Church in Osage with the Rev. Duane LaCock and Rev. Dennis
Hanson officiating.

Interment was in the Osage Cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife Janet Weaverling of Osage; by one daughter
Elizabeth Flatness and her husband Lynn of Osage; by two sons Jeffrey
Weaverling and wife Wendy of Missoula, Montana, and Kenneth Weaverling
of Minneapolis. Minn.; by two step-daughters Teresa Jensen of
North Liberty; and Yvonne Tourtellott and husband Troy of Osage; by
one step-son Jerry Jensen and wife Wendy of Osage; by two bothers
John Weaverling and wife Cleone Osage; and Melvin Weaverling of Osage;
by 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, cousins, nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; by one sister Hazel Betts;
by two brothers Loren Weaverling and Donald Weaverling; and one
sister-in-law Marianne Weaverling.

Champion-Bucheit Funeral home handled the arrangements.
