                        Dennis Benttine

OSAGE, IOWA--Dennis Benttine, 36, of Osage, died Sunday, May 5, 1996,
at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Our Savior's
Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Dennis Hanson and the Rev. Roy Ott
officiating.

Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

Dennis Benttine was born June 25, 1959, in Osage.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth, of Osage; two daughters,
Rose and Heather Benttine, both of Osage; his parents, LeRoy
and Joanne Benttine of St. Ansgar; two grandmothers, Alice Benttine
of Osage, and Lydia Hawkins of Cottonwood, Ariz.; one sister,
Connie Wagner of Osage; and one brother, Carl Benttine of Osage.

He was preceded in death by two grandfathers.

The Champion Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
