                         Gertrude Beyer

OSAGE-- Gertrude Beyer, 65, of Osage, died Monday, October 23, 1995,
at North Iowa Mercy Health Center East, Mason City, Iowa.

Funeral services were held on Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic
Church, Osage, with the Rev. John Moser officiating.  Burial was
in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Gertude was born Jan. 16, 1930, on the family farm near Osage.

Survivors include her husband, Leo Beyer of Osage; two sons,
Donald Beyer of Mitchell, and Thomas Beyer of Osage; two daughters,
Jane Scholl of Crystal, Minn., and Julie Johnson of Osage; four
sisters, Mary Gray of Phoenix, Ariz.; Grace Ciesielski of Hales
Corners, Wis.; Irene Mullenbach of Little Cedar, and Agnes Watson
of Petal, Miss.; one brother, Clem (Jr.) Johanns of Osage; and
12 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

The Champion Funeral Home, was in charge of arrangements.
