OBITUARY: William Bortz, Mitchell Co., Iowa




                             William Bortz

William Bortz, 57, died Sunday night at his home here following a heart
attack.

Mr. Bortz had visited his daughter, Mrs. J.E. Schmidt, earlier in the
evening before he was stricken.

He was born in Rudd.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist
church in Rudd.

Surviving are his widow, two daughters, Mrs. J.E. Schmidt and Mrs.
Chester Brandau, son Alvin, and five grandchildren, all of Rudd.
