OBITUARY: Dorothy Gilles, 1913-1995, Mitchell County, Iowa

                          Dorothy Gilles

Dorothy Gilles, 82, of Osage, died Tuesday (July 11, 1995)  at
the Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage.  A funeral  Mass
will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at  Champion Funeral Home  with the
Rev. Dennis Cahill officiating. Burial will be in the  Sacred Heart
Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today at  the funeral
home, with a 7:30 p.m. scripture service.

Dorothy Gilles was born April 22, 1913, in Osage.

Survivors include one daughter, Sue Safire of Virginia Beach, Va.; 
three sons, Michael Gilles of Osage, Patrick Gilles of  
Topeka, Kan., and Jeffery Gilles of Redmond, Wash.; eight 
grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth Conklin of Osage.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister.
