OBITUARY: Herman R. Dieterich, 1889-1969, Mitchell Co., Iowa

Herman R. Dieterich, 80, died Thursday night at Mitchell County Memorial
hospital in Osage.

Funeral services will be on Saturday at St. John’s Lutheran church,
southwest of Osage.  The Rev. Stephen Funck will officiate.  Burial
will be in Calvary cemetery with Champion Funeral Home in charge of
the arrangements.

Herman R. Dieterich was born on March 10, 1889 the son of Frederick
and Anna Hartwig Dieterichs of Floyd County.  He was married to Matilda
Troge on June 2, 1915.  They farmed until retiring to Osage.  Mrs.
Dieterich died three years ago.

Surviving are four sisters: Mrs. Henry Troge of Osage, Mrs. Ralph
Brandau, Mrs. Emma Morische and Miss Delia Dieterich, all of Rudd,
and a brother, George Dieterich of St. Ansgar.
