                        David F. Fangmeier

OSAGE--David F. Fangmeier, age 72, of Osage, died Monday, March 18,
1996, at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Our Saviour's
Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dennis Hanson and the Rev. Roy
Ott officiating.  Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery with military
rites performed by the Osage American Legion Post 278.

Visitation will be held after 5 p.m. Thursday at the Champion
Funeral Home, and will continue one hour prior to services at
the church on Friday.

David F. Fangmeier was born Aug. 3, 1923, in Waverly.

Survivors include his wife, Georgia, of Osage; two sons, Bruce
of Tustin, Calif., and Brian of Osage; three daughters, Kathy
Wohlfeil and Linda Majerus, both of Austin, Minn., and Carla
Dennis of Redondo Beach, Calif.; one brother, Fred Fangmeier
of Nashua; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and
three sisters.
