                         Burl W. Goodale

OSAGE -- Burl W. Goodale, 90, of Osage, died Sunday (June 11, 1995) at
the Maple Manor Nursing Home.  Funeral services will be held  
Wednesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rev. Dennis
Cahill officiating.  Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m. today at the Champion Funeral Home,
with a 3 p.m. rosary and a 7:30 p.m. scripture service.

Burl W. Goodale was born May 7, 1905 at Nashua.

Survivors include three daughters, Viola Klassen Jr. of Adams, Minn., 
Arlene Fox of Elma, and Irene Johnson of Cedar Rapids; five sons, 
Kenneth Goodale of Osage, William Goodale of Manly, Vernon Goodale 
of Little Cedar, Dale Goodale of Osage, and Dean Goodale of 
Mason City; one sister, Pearl Boyer of Charles City; 39 grandchildren; 
37 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
