                      Phyllis M. Gunsallus
 
STACYVILLE--Phyllis Maxine Gunsallus, 61, of Stacyville, died Saturday
(January 27, 1996) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Our
Savior's Lutheran Church, Osage, with the Rev. Dennis Hanson
officiating.  Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Champion
Funeral Home, Osage, and one hour prior to service time Wednesday
at the church.

Phyllis M. Gunsallus was born Sept. 2, 1934, in Mason City.

Survivors include her husband, Dean A. Gunsallus, Stacyville;
three daughters, Diane Wagner and Carol Nicholson, both of Osage,
and Nancy Corcoran, Rushford, Minn.; one son, Terry Gunsallus,
Austin, Minn.; two sisters, Barbara Carter, Yankton, S.D., and
Shirley Darcy, Colorado Springs, Colo.; three brothers, Donald
Hutzell Jr., Mason City, Ronald Hutzell, Topeka, Kan., and Curtis
Hutzell, Austell, Ga.; and 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
