OBITUARY: Duane Ralph Heller, 1926-1995, Mitchell County, Iowa [MASON CITY (Iowa) GLOBE GAZETTE - JULY 1, 1995] Duane Ralph Heller ORCHARD, IOWA--Duane Ralph Heller, 69, of Missoula, Mont., formerly of Orchard, Iowa, died Saturday (June 17, 1995). The body was cremated. Graveside inurnment services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday (July 1, 1995) at the Orchard Cemetery, with the Rev. Jerry Newland officiating. There will be a flag presentation by the Osage American Legion Post 278. Champion Funeral Home, Osage is in charge of local arrangements. Duane Heller was was born June 1, 1926 to Ralph Heller and Myrtle (nee) Wetter Heller. As a youth, he lived in Orchard and graduated from Orchard High School in 1944. He entered the United States Army after high school. Following his Army discharge, he was employed by Phillips 66 Company in the state of Washington. He lived in Missoula, Mont. for many years. Survivors include an uncle, Martin Wetter of Osage; and two aunts, Amy Walling and Hazel Ball, both of Osage, and several cousins. Preceding him in death were his parents.
