OBITUARY: Harold W. Huisman, 1937-1996, Mitchell County, Iowa

                       Harold W. Huisman

OSAGE -- Harold W. Huisman, 58, of rural Osage, died Tuesday
(January 30, 1996) at Mitchell County Regional Health Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Little
Cedar United Methodist Church, Little Cedar, with the Rev. John
Gilbert and the Rev. Ted Stowers officiating.  Burial will be
in Little Cedar Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Champion
Funeral Home, Osage.

Harold W. Huisman was born April 23, 1937, at Hampton, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, Karolyn Huisman of rural Osage;
one daughter, Deborah Foster, Riceville; seven sons, Michael
and John Huisman, both of Osage; Paul Huisman, St. Ansgar; Jeremy
Hovde, Justin Huisman, Jason Huisman and Jordan Huisman, all
at home; two brothers, Richard L. Huisman, Sheffield, and Kenneth
R. Huisman, Dougherty; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant sons and
an infant granddaughter.
