                         Clayton H. Jackson

OSAGE--Clayton H. Jackson, 90, of Osage died Friday May 3, 1996, at
the Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the United Church
of Christ, with the Rev. W.R. Fegan officiating.

Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

Clayton H. Jackson was born Feb. 4, 1906, at Rockwell, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, Maurine, of Osage; one daughter, Maradee
Fox of Marshalltown; seven grandchildren;  eight great-grandchildren;
three brothers, Bill Jackson of State Center, George Jackson of
Burbank, California, and Walt Jackson of Clear Lake, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, two sisters and
three brothers.

The Champion Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
