OBITUARY: Ronald Johnson, c1933-2004, Mitchell Co., Iowa Adapted from: Mitchell County Press-News -- 10/13/2004 Ronald Johnson A Memorial Mass will be held for Ronald Johnson, age 71, of Osage, Iowa, on Wednesday, October 13, 2004, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage, with Reverend Mark Reasoner officiating. Inurnment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Osage with Flag Presentation at the grave by Osage American Legion Post 278. Ronald, formerly of Sanford, Florida, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004 at Heritage Care Center in Mason City. Ronald Johnson was the son of Kermit and Mary Jane (Roscoe) Johnson. He served in the United States Navy. He was united in marriage to Arlene Parro on July 2, 1957, in Forest City, Iowa, and they lived in the southeastern Minnesota area, moving to Florida in April of 2001. Ronald and Arlene moved to Osage in October of 2004. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. His survivors include his wife Arlene Johnson of Osage; six children: Chris (Kim) Johnson of Rochester, Minn.; Tim Johnson of Jonesborough, Tenn., Paul Johnson of Sanford, Fla.; Denise Johnson of Taopi, Minn.; Mike Johnson of Zumbro Falls, Minn.; and Rose Johnson Maziarka of Sanford, Fla. Seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, one step-great-grandchild, two sisters and five brothers. Champion Funeral Home in Osage, (641) 732-37056, is in charge of arrangements.
