                       Benjamin W. Mouw

ST. ANSGAR--Benjamin W. Mouw, 92, of St. Ansgar, died Monday (Jan.
8, 1996) at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the United
Methodist Church, St. Ansgar, with the Rev. Robert Lemmermann
officiating. Burial will be in St. Ansgar Cemetery.

There will be no visitation. Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home
is in charge of arrangements.

Benjamin W. Mouw was born Jan. 22, 1903, in Sioux County, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, Madge, of St. Ansgar; two sons,
Willis B. Mouw of Baudette, Minn., and Eugene H. Mouw of St.
Ansgar; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four sisters,
Alice Straatsma of Holland, Mich.; Johanna VanBinsbergen of Orange
City; Wilma VanGorp of Montevideo, Minn., and Harriet DeBoer
of Littleton, Colo.; and one brother Marvin Mouw of Sioux Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, two brothers,
one daughter and three grandsons.
