OBITUARY: Anna Lena Muller, 1879-1962, Mitchell Co., Iowa Anna Lena Muller Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Osage for Anna Muller, 83, lifelong resident of the area, who died Tuesday at her home in Osage. The Rev. Obert Hoven and the Rev. R.M. Christenson, associate pastors of the church, were in charge of the services. C.R. Champion and Sons made the arrangements and burial was in Evergreen cemetery at Rudd. Anna Lena Muller was born in Cedar Township, Mitchell County, June 14, 1879, the daughter of Otto and Anna Muller. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran church southwest of Osage. In 1896, she moved with her family to Rudd, where for 17 years she was engaged in partnership in a general merchandise store, first with her father and later with her cousins. This work was discontinued in order that she might care for her invalid father. Miss Muller moved to Osage in 1930. She is survived by one sister, Amelia, and many nieces and nephews.
