                         Hattie M. Naber

CARPENTER-- Hattie M. Naber, 76, of Mason City, and formerly of
Carpenter, Iowa, died Saturday, September 30, 1995, at North Iowa
Mercy Health Center East, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 1995, at
Deer Creek Lutheran Church, Carpenter, with Robert Orr officiating.

Burial will be in the Newburg Cemetery east of Carpenter.

Visitation will be at Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar.

Hattie M. Naber was born Jan. 20, 1919, at Orchard.

Survivors include one daughter, Janice Racel of Roanoke, Va.;
two sons, Galen Naber of Carpenter and Kenneth Naber of Mingo;
15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Fannie
Olson of Portland, Ore.; and one brother, John Smith of Osage.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son,
one grandchild, two brothers and one sister.
