OBITUARY: Clara I. Priem, 1897-1995, Mitchell County, Iowa

                        Clara I. Priem

ST. ANSGAR -- Clara I. Priem, 98, died Friday (Dec. 22, 1995) at
the Good Samaritan Center.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church,
with the Rev. Norman E. Betke officiating.  Burial will be in St. Ansgar
City Cemetery.

Clara I. Priem was born May 20, 1897 in Barton Township, Worth
County.

Survivors include one daughter, Gladys Westrem of St. Ansgar;
one sister, Wilma Bublitz of St. Ansgar; three grandchildren;
four step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four
step-great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother
and two sisters.

Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
