OBITUARY: Velma M. Stout, 1905-1995, Mitchell County, Iowa

                          Velma M. Stout

RICEVILLE-- Velma M. Stout, 90, formerly of Little Cedar, Mitchell
County, Iowa, died Thursday October 26, 1995 at the Riceville
Community Rest Home in Riceville, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 1995, at
the Champion Funeral Home, Osage, Iowa, with the Rev. John Gilbert
officiating.  Burial will be in the Little Cedar Cemetery.

Velma M. Stout was born on June 9, 1905, near Riceville.*

Survivors include one daughter, Delia Julius of Riceville; one son,
William Stout of Lowden; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother.  
                                          
 
(*Note: "Near Riceville" could mean either Howard County or Mitchell County.)
