                          Ted Thatcher

OSAGE-- Ted Thatcher, 58, of Osage, Iowa, died Wednesday November
29, 1995, at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center, in Osage.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at the Champion Funeral
Home, in Osage, with the Rev. John Bates officiating.  The body
will be cremated and burial will be held at a later date.

Ted Thatcher was born April 18, 1937, in Waterloo, Iowa.

Survivors include his mother, Ruth Thatcher of Osage; two sons,
Todd Thatcher of Camp Hill, Pa., and Christopher Thatcher of
Osage; one brother, Steven Thatcher of Osage; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.
