                            Ruby Tyer

OSAGE--Ruby Tyer, 79, of Osage, died Saturday November 25, 1995 at home.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at Champion Funeral Home, Osage,
Iowa, with the Rev. Jerry Newland officiating.

Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

Ruby Tyer was born July 29, 1916, at Creston.

Survivors include four daughters, Beverly Broege, Poplar Bluff, Missouri,
Patricia Coen, Northwood, Joyce Schmidtke, St. Ansgar, and Rozella
Melancon, Marrero, Louisiana; four sons, Robert Smith Jr, Sedalia,
Missouri, William Smith, Des Moines, Eugene Gary, Wichita, Kansas, and
Ray Smith, Osage; one brother, Jim Campbell, Des Moines; and
34 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one sister and
one brother.
