OBITUARY: Leonard Baldwin, 1904-1997, Mitchell County, Iowa

OSAGE, IOWA--Leonard Baldwin, 92, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 1997, at the
Mitchell County Regional Health Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist
Church with the Rev. Clark Christian officiating.  Burial will be in the
Osage City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the Champion Funeral Home.

Leonard Baldwin was born Sept. 27, 1904, at Barron, Wisconsin.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Lawson of Pearl City, Illinois;
four stepdaughters, Dorothy Harrison of Des Moines, Darlene Anderson of
Long Beach, Calif., and Shirley Newhouse and Delores Olson, both of Osage;
one stepson, Lawrence Taylor of Silver Springs, Fla.; three sisters,
Alberta Gaulke of Rice Lake, Wis., and Mable Prine and Myrtie Olson,
both of Barron, Wis.; one brother, Elmer Baldwin of Mesa, Ariz.; many
grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, second wife and
brothers and sisters.
