OBITUARY: Lois Ruby Beyer, 1926-1997, Mitchell County, Iowa

                           Lois Ruby Beyer

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA--Lois Ruby Beyer, 70, died Friday (Jan. 3, 1997) at home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran
Church with the Rev. Robert Porisch officiating.  Burial will be in the
St. Ansgar Cemetery.

The Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, is in charge of
arrangements.

Lois was born Oct. 3, 1926 in Rock Township, Mitchell County.

Survivors include one daughter, Jane Sherrard of Grafton; two sons, Ronnie
Beyer of Harvey, N.D., and Larry Beyer of St. Ansgar; one sister, Elaine
Pike of St. Ansgar; nine grandchildren; three step grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers.
