OBITUARY: Ryan Bode, 1975-1996, Mitchell County, Iowa

                            Ryan Bode

OSAGE, IOWA--Ryan Bode, 21, of Osage, died Wednesday (Dec. 4, 1996) at
his home.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred
Heart Catholic Church, with the Rev. Dennis Cahill officiating.  Cremation
will follow the funeral service.  Visitation will be held today at the
Champion Funeral Home.

Ryan Bode was born April 7, 1975, in Osage.

Survivors include his parents, Charles and Arlis Bode of Osage; a sister,
Valerie Hogan of Riceville; a half sister, Tasha Stewart of New Providence;
maternal grandmother, Dolores Nelson, Forest City; paternal grandparents,
Paul and Dixie Bode, Osage; and paternal great-grandfather, Cornelius Bode
of Osage.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather.
