                       Lawerance Duane Coen

OSAGE, IOWA--Lawerance Duane Coen Jr., 30, of Osage, died Friday (March
14, 1997) at his home.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at Champion Funeral Home, with the
Rev. Rick Magstadt officiating. Burial will be in the Osage City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday at Champion Funeral Home.

Lawerance Duane Coen Jr. was born Nov. 30, 1966, in Davenport.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Coen, Northwood; his father,
Lawerance D. Coen Sr., Davenport; one daughter, Kristen Putnam, Mason
City; one son, David Brian Nelson, Mankato, Minn.; three sisters, Pamela
Clausen, Mason City; Diana Fleenor, Mason City, and Laurie Duryee,
Northwood; one half sister, Laurie Lenard, Fayetteville, N.C.; one
brother, Timothy Coen, Mason City; and a paternal grandmother, Lulu Buls,
Frederika.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents.
