                           Marjorie Coon

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA--Marjorie Coon, 87, of St. Ansgar, died Sunday (Feb. 23,
1997) at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the United
Methodist Church with the Rev. Ted Stowers and the Rev. Rose Marie Lewis
officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Mitchell.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Schroeder and Sites
Funeral Home.

Marjorie Coon was born June 30, 1909, in Fostoria.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ann Jennings, Carson City, Nev.; five
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
