                           Evelyn Eastman

MCINTIRE, IOWA--Evelyn Eastman, age 56, of McIntire, died Tuesday, April 8,
[1997], at her home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 12th, at the Riceville
United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Donald Lovejoy officiating.

Burial will be in Wayne Cemetery, rural McIntire.

The Lindstrom Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Evelyn Eastman was born May 28, 1940, in Spring Grove, Minnesota.

Survivors include her husband, Bill, of McIntire; three daughters,
Kelly Karson of Riceville; Susan Hegge of Rose Creek, Minn., and
Billi Jo Hummel of Richardson, Texas; one son, Jacob of McIntire;
eight grandchildren; and four sisters, Adella Olafson of Caledonia,
Minn.; Gertrude Hanson of Austin, Minn.; Charlotte Schroeder of
Kansas City, Mo., and Esther Funge of Sioux Falls, S.D.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
